In the 1980s it began casting all types of low and medium alloy steel parts, expanding its market to other sectors such as shipbuilding, construction, lifting and machinery.

The 1990s were characterised by investment in several moulding lines and an increase in the production capacity of Fundiciones Bereciartu.

A family company founded in 1940 in Legazpia (Gipuzkoa) by Joaquín Bereciartu, initially dedicated to the foundry of railway and agricultural material. In 1967, the current company was set up, expanding the factory facilities.

An induction furnace is acquired, which allows a leap in the quality of the materials manufactured.
