## PROJECT PHASES

In the development phase of each project and part, starting from the specifications defined by the Client, Fundiciones Bereciartu pays special attention to the part and process design phases and to the creation of different value proposals for the Client.

Likewise, a prototyping process is usually carried out for dimensional verification, part sanitation or mechanical testing.

- INITIAL REQUIREMENTS Steel grades. Dimensional: casting drawings, machining drawings, others. Inspection, control and testing requirements. Acceptance requirements and standards. Requirements not specified by the customer, but recommended for design and manufacturing optimisation.
- ANALYSIS AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROPOSALS Casting and solidification simulations. Steel qualities, heat treatments and tests, dimensional proposals (creases, tolerances, etc.), process proposals (casting, machining, others), other processes. Proposal of design, prototyping and production phases. Planning.
- DEFINITION OF THE FINAL SPECIFICATION Steel grades. Dimensional: casting drawings, machining drawings, others. Inspection, control and testing requirements. Acceptance requirements and standards.
- MANUFACTURE OF THE FOUNDRY MODEL Design and manufacture of the casting model in the material required in each case.
- PROTOTYPING AND VALIDATION Dimensional checks, part health inspections and mechanical tests.
- PRODUCTION OF THE SERIES Once the prototype has been validated, the production of the series parts starts on the basis of the deadline agreed in the offer phase.
